| DevComs Network has a state of the art video and television production studio. Our facilities are modern and highly efficient. We’ve got high-standard HDV and DV cameras with exceptional video qualities as well as an editing suite that could trigger even the most recent video effect or technique.
All these have been put in place to develop the society through development oriented documentaries, drama, musicals, gingles, public announcement and so on. We have always empowered science journalists in this regard and we hope to further expand our reach to other areas of development.
Our major focus still remains mentoring and capacity building of “in-the-school” and “on-the field” journalists (undergraduate students of communication as well as practising journalists). The empowerments are usually in the form of training, provision of assistance for journalists in need of production equipment, and awards for journalists who have written a good number of issue-based award winning development stories.
We believe in the power of sounds and vision to effect behavioural and attitudinal change in the society.
